It's officially fall! And, even though I live in Miami and don't actually experience any of that beautiful fall weather, I'm HERE. FOR. IT!
Naturally, I went to Trader Joe's to load up on some pumpkin fall goodness, and found their Pumpkin Brioche Twist (pictured right)!
I love using their French
Brioche sliced bread for delicious French Toast on Sunday mornings. These are 10000% better. It's not too pumpkin-spicey, though! It has a subtle pumpkin flavor with a good amount of cinnamon baked in there as well.

Super Simple Pumpkin French Toast
Time: 15 minutes | Serves: 4
- 8 slices Trader Joe's Pumpkin Brioche Twists
- 2 whole eggs (or approximately 1/3 cup egg whites)
- 3/4 cup milk of choice
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- oil spray of choice or 1 tbsp. butter
- maple syrup or honey to taste (optional)
- chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat pan or griddle to 300F.
In a shallow pan or dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Once your pan or griddle is hot, spray with oil or add butter.
Dip each slice of bread into your egg mixture and place on the pan.
After about two minutes, or until one side is lightly browned, flip over and cook the other side.
Halve each slice and top with syrup, and add chopped nuts for an added crunch!
